Fall Into Fitt – September Challenge

Quite literally we will FALL in our September Challenge.  Fall starts on September 22nd, so why not honor that the funky, spazzy, RightFitt way! This is quick, easy and you can do it from anywhere!

So what’s my challenge?

  • I want you to ‘fall’ 22 time every day.  Why 22?  Because the season starts on the 22nd and it’s a great number…question is why not!?
  • What the H-E- Double hockey sticks does that even mean??  I will explain:

Stand up.
Now get all the way down on the floor so you are laying.
Now stand up

REPEAT 22*

  • You just ‘fell’!  You, of course, can choose to drop to the ground like a burpee or slowly crawl down – I don’t care!  To each his own, just do it!
  • When you are done ‘falling’; check into RightFitt on Facebook or Foursquare ;-)  I am going to start offering prizes and discounts for the most check ins so there is incentive!!
  • You can ‘fall 22*’ and check in accordingly as many times a day or times a week that you like.  Fall 88 times and you get to check in 4 times and essentially have a better chance of winning!

June At-Home Workout Challenge

In June we challenged you to run/walk/jog 1 mile a day followed by a 4 minute tabata set.  This was an easy 14 minute workout to get you on track!  You got 1 pt for every time you completed this and checked in on Facebook.  If you got 30 pts you got ‘buy one get one free’ for your July workouts!  And the winners were…. NO ONE!!  Holy camolly people… not 1 person was able to get 30 pts.  Maybe next time???

FREE PROJECT ME™ CONTEST

You’ve seen ‘em transform before your own eyes – hard work, dedication and a lotta fun deliver incredible results!  We are now running a contest for a FREE PROJECT ME!

You want in?  Here are the details:

You have until June 30th to fill out the following form.  Tell us why YOU deserve a free transformation or why you WANT a free transformation.  The coaches will pick the winner by June 6th based on points (it’s super complicated so don’t even ask).  Your transformation can start within the next 6 weeks – you pick your start date cause that’s how we roll.

For those of you that came to the open house – don’t worry – we have your xtra points recorded!!!  But you should still fill this out for MORE points!

TABATA JUNE

Here we go friends – your June Challenge is here (sorry it’s the 3rd, but if you were at class yesterday you would still be right on track….if not, get off your butt and get going!)

I really think you guys are going to LOVE this one, now to see who can get it done!

 

Run (wog, jog, walk…you know how hard to push yourself) ONE mile.  Then do 1 four-minute tabata.  The tabata can be ANY exercise you choose!  That’s right; I’m super nice!  So maybe push ups, sit ups, lunge hops, bicep curls, tri dips – whatEVER you want!)  This = 1 point!  Simple as that this month! So a recap:

 

1 Mile + 1 Tabata round = 1 pt.    

(This is a 14 minute workout so NO EXCUSES)

 

Can I do xtra miles or xtra tabatas?

They have to go TOGETHER  so you have to do one mile AND one tabata.  If you want to do that 5 times – awesome – you get 5 points.  But you can’t just do the mile or just the tabata and get a point.

What’s a good goal for points?

I think we should all go for 30pts!!

Is there a prize?

There usually isn’t, but I think you all need some motivation.  If you get 30pts this month, you will get 2 for 1 classes in July.  That means 2 for the price of one ;-) yeah – you’re welcome.  If you already paid for the full summer session you will get someone in the door free for the whole month – they’re welcome ;-)  THERE IS A CATCH!!  You have to ‘check in’ to RightFitt Face book everytime you complete it.  Even though its from home, it helps me to monitor what you guys are actually doing.  Then I don’t have to ask for your pts every day.

How do I check in?

Sign up for FourSquare through your facebook account.  It is super easy – then just enter RightFitt each time you do your workout.  If you hate technology – get over it!  It takes literally 1 minute to do…so consider your workout 15 minutes total ;-)

What is a tabata?

Video coming your way soon!  Basically you do 20 seconds of an exercise as HARD as you can.  Rest for 10 seconds.  Repeat this cycle 8 times for a total of 4 minutes.

Losing Weight For Summer

Sydni Dunham – 8 Week Project Me

Holy smokes Sydni Dunham!  What an incredible Project Me!!  Check out these results!

Sydni and I devised her Project Me because she wanted to just tighten up a bit.  Sydni looked GREAT to begin with, but she felt that she would be more confident adjusting her body comp a bit.

Goals:

Decrease butt and leg size, work on a core a bit, tone upper body.

Project ME:

Herbalife Quickstart program with additional protein to support muscle growth.  Personalized workout program focusing on buns, abs and arms.  We also avoided mundane running ;-)

Results:

Amazing!! Sydni exceeded ALL of her personal goals!!

She is 6lbs lighter.

She lost 5.9% of her body fat!!!!

Her training program added 3.4% muscle on to her lean body ;-)

Her metabolic age decreased by 4 years and her visceral fat decreased by 1%

 

I was amazed at her transformation and give her EXTRA KUDOS FOR WORKING SO HARD!  Sydni – you are amazing!

 

And the best part is – Sydni is now a HEALTH COACH!!!!   She loved transforming herself which has motivated her to help others lead healthier lives.

I’m Outta Town – Weekend Class Schedule

I am headed to NM for a convention and I will BLOW your mind when I get back!!

Until then – CLASSES ARE STILL ON FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

Anne is teaching the friday class same time same location.

SATURDAY CLASS IS MEETING AT STUDIO IN NORTHGLENN!!  475 W 115th Ave, Unit C. Northglenn.  They are meeting there because NO Erie people have been showing up.  SO, if you live in Erie and like having class there – register, show up, or get some friends involved!  Otherwise it will be a contest and the location with the most registrants WINS!
